Para Transpo

Transportation for people with disabilities

Para Transpo is a door-to-door transportation service for persons with disabilities who are unable to use conventional transit services.

It is funded by the City of Ottawa and administered by OC Transpo.

Para Transpo provides van and sedan services within the urban and rural areas of the City of Ottawa and to the Hull sector of Gatineau.

Wheelchairs up to 30 inches (762 mm) wide by 60 inches (1525 mm) long and scooters up to 30 inches (762 mm) wide by 50 inches (1270 mm) long will fit on Para Transpo buses.

If you are a senior citizen or an adult living with a physical disability in rural Ottawa, there are options available in addition to Para Transpo and the Taxi coupon program to help you travel to, from, or within your community: Rural transportation options
