Fall service change improvements include the following:
- To meet the growing demand for service, additional trips that are over and above the normal seasonal increases will be added to routes 30, 93 and 111. On the following routes capacity will be increased by using articulated or double-decker buses on busy trips: 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 22, 30, 34, 35, 40, 67, 68, 69, 70, 73, 76, 87, 93, 94, 96, 98, 101, 111 and 118.
- Schedules will be adjusted on several routes to improve reliability as follows: 16, 71, 87, 94, 106, 131 and 159.
- Minor frequency reductions in certain time periods will be made to Routes 85, 86, 97, 112, 126, 129 and 176, but sufficient capacity will be maintained by using articulated buses.
- The O-Train returns Tuesday, September 3, following a shut down for upgrades in preparation for service expansion in 2014. Temporary bus Route 107 will be cancelled.
You should obtain a new timetable for all peak period and express routes as well as the following routes: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 16, 18 through 99, 106, 111, 114, 116, 118, 121, 122, 124, 128, 129, 130, 131, 147, 149, 151, 159, 161, 172, 175, 176, 177, 178 and the O-Train.

Labour Day Service
On Labour Day, Monday, September 2, a Sunday schedule will operate, so only those routes that normally run on Sunday will be in service.

The DayPass ($7.95) will be valid as a Family DayPass September 1, 2 and 3. A family of up to six people, with a maximum of two age 13 or older, can get unlimited rides for the day. You can buy a DayPass on the bus (exact fare).
U-Pass Returns September 1
The "U-Pass" Universal transit pass is returning for full-time students at Carleton University, the University of Ottawa and Saint Paul University.
Students can enjoy the convenience and freedom of getting around without worrying about exact fare, buying bus tickets or purchasing their next monthly pass.
The 2013-14 U-Pass is valid for eight months from September 1 until April 30, 2014. There is no age restriction and the U-Pass provides unlimited rides on the O-Train and any OC Transpo bus route. It is also accepted on STO service.
Save with a Student Pass
Take advantage of discounted student passes for economical travel - available for full-time students ages 13-19 who are residents of Ontario.
OC Transpo will be on campus at Algonquin College and La Cité collégiale with complimentary PRESTO cards that have the $6 card fee waived.
New O-Train Fares
O-Train fares will be the same as a regular-fare bus route when service returns on September 3. Children age 5 and under still ride free, but a fare will be required for children ages 6-12.

Cash fares can be paid at the red ticket machine outside the station platform. For cheaper fares, use a PRESTO card — don’t forget to tap the green card reader. Bus tickets are not accepted.
