Winter Service
Avoid winter road conditions and leave the driving to us!
On Sunday, January 8th, winter schedules go into effect on most routes.
Obtain a new timetable for all red- and green-number routes, as well as the following: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 14, 16, 86 through 97, 99, 106, 112, 114, 118, 121, 126, 129, 130, 131, 135, 143, 144, 146, 147, 152, 156, 159, 164, 170, 171, 172, 176, 177 and 178.
Trip times may vary on your route, so please check your schedule (ensure you choose the correct date from the drop-down list).

Service and Routing Changes
The following service and routing changes will be implemented on the date indicated, as described below:

| 16 | Jan. 8 | Route 16 will be enhanced with a few new trips, Monday to Friday, that will provide residents in Sandy Hill with a connection to Rideau Street. Two trips will operate in the morning from Lees Station to the Rideau Centre via Waller, Besserer and Dalhousie. In the early afternoon, two trips will operate in the reverse direction from the Rideau Centre via Wellington, Elgin and Mackenzie King Bridge. | 169 | Dec. 28 | Route 169 will be modified in order to improve service for employees along Innovation Drive in Kanata North. Buses will be rerouted from March Road to travel via Carling and Schneider, then north on Legget to Solandt, Hines and along Innovation. Service Increases
Service will be increased on numerous routes to increase capacity and improve frequency and choice for customers as follows:

Also on January 8, capacity is also being increased at key times during the day on routes 4, 38, 60, 62, 87, 93 and 114 through the use of articulated buses. Resources will also be added to Route 129 to improve service reliability and performance.
Park & Ride News
Carlsbad Springs Park & Ride
The Park & Ride lot will be moving from Greyhawk Golf Club to the Carlsbad Springs Community Centre, 6020 Eighth Line Road, starting Wednesday, December 28. Route 232 will be rerouted slightly to serve the new lot shown at right. The last day for transit customers to park at Greyhawk is Friday, December 23.
A new bus stop will be installed at the community centre for your convenience. For automated schedules for Route 232 up to six days in advance at the new stop, call 613-560-1000 or text 560560 plus 9008. Transit customers are reminded to park in the designated area at the back of the lot, and leave the spaces near the building for community centre customers.
NEW! Park & Ride at Scotiabank Place

Effective January 9, residents in the west end can take advantage of a new Park & Ride option at Scotiabank Place. Located in the north parking lot, 100 parking spaces will be available for transit commuters between approximately 5:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The lot will be served by ten trips on Express Routes 261 and 263, on request, with direct rush hour service to downtown.
The "on request" service operates via a signal. Customers press the call button on the request stop pole located on the Scotiabank transit terminal platform. This will send a signal to the next bus to serve the Park & Ride lot. The green light near the top of the pole will light up to let you know the signal is working. For the return trip home, ring the bell after the bus has passed the bus stop located on Palladium Drive at the Auto Park entrance.
NEW! - Rural Shoppers’ Shuttle Service
Free Service on routes 201 to 205 until June 30th.2012.
Starting January 9, rural residents will have a convenient way to get into town for shopping, appointments and more. Four new routes - 201, 202, 203, 204 - will be introduced that will each serve a different rural community. New Route 205 will replace the current Route 186 Friday shopper's shuttle.
Each route will operate one trip a week arriving in town around 10 a.m. Return trips will leave the shopping centres at 2:30 p.m.
