Fallowfield Station Improvements

Fallowfield Station will be under construction into the fall that will involve a realignment of the station so that it is parallel to the VIA tracks and in line with the Southwest Transitway extension. Improvements include new shelters and platforms, which will be relocated, a pedestrian-friendly crosswalk, and 70 additional parking spaces. The work will be carried out in stages and may require occasional adjustments to pedestrian crossing areas, parking access and egress, and traffic lanes.

The parking spaces along the east side of the east parking lot have been fenced off in order to expand the parking lot. These spaces will not be available until further notice. The attached diagram shows where the parking will be removed, in addition to the areas that are currently under construction. All areas shown on the diagram will be under construction for the next few weeks.Construction along the north side of the Transitway will begin shortly.

NEW: Starting September 7th, the Transitway between Via Park Place and the west bus loop/lay-up area, will be closed for a few weeks. All regular bus operations will be maintained at all times.
