Why choose the DayPass?
- You can ride the bus all day.
- The whole family travels with one DayPass on weekends and statutory holidays
- It must be bought directly from the bus driver for exact change on the day of travel.
The DayPass allows unlimited travel all day, making it a great low-cost way for tourists, residents, and entire families to see the city.

The DayPass must be purchased directly from the bus driver for $7.50 on the day of travel.
The DayPass is valid as full fare on regular and express routes. On rural express routes, a top-up of $1.00 or 1 ticket is required.
DayPasses are no longer available at vendors, but if you have a pre-purchased DayPass voucher, it will still be accepted on the bus.
Family Daypass
The DayPass is also the perfect way for families to travel and explore the city on weekends and statutory holidays, as up to six people can travel on one DayPass!
Any family of two adults and up to four children (under the age of 12) can travel all day using only one pass.
DayPass valid on Statutory holidays
The DayPass is valid on the following statutory holidays *:
- New Years Day;
- Family Day;
- Good Friday;
- Victoria Day;
- Canada Day;
- Civic Holiday;
- Labour Day;
- Thanksgiving;
- Christmas;
- Boxing Day.
* Excludes Easter Monday and Remembrance Day.
The Ticket
Tickets make sense! Keep them in your wallet as they continue to offer savings compared to a regular cash fare.
Don’t forget to validate your pass!
Remember to write your Photo ID Card number on the pass voucher. If you have not done this, the pass is not valid and you would be subject to a fine.
Student Semester Pass
Post-secondary student semester passes are valid for the following four-month periods:
Winter: Jan. 1 - April 30
Summer: May 1 - Aug. 31
Fall: Sep. 1 - Dec. 31
Students save 15% with a Semester pass compared to buying 4 monthly passes!
