Rural Zone Fares

Para Transpo riders travelling to and from rural areas – outside the Urban Transit Area – will be charged an extra fare, based on the zone and distance you travel. Your fare will be calculated when you reserve your trip, based on your pick up and drop off.

For example, depending on the origin or destination of a trip (see map) rural fares may range from $9.50 in rural zone 2, $13.50 in rural zone 3 and $18.50 in rural zone 4, per one way trip.

When fare is paid in combination with a Bus Pass or bus tickets the driver will subtract the appropriate amount from the fare.

For more detailed information on the rural fares please contact the Para Transpo administration office at 613-244-1289
