Student Eligibility
Students applying for a Student Transit Photo ID must meet the following criteria:
- Only full-time students who are residents of Ontario are eligible
- Annual Student Pass purchasers must be present at the time of purchase
- Semester Student Passes are available to post-secondary students only.
- Student Photo ID Cost: $6.25 (effective March 1, 2010 - renewed annually)

High School Students
If you are older or appear to be older than typical secondary school-age students, you must show a student identification or proof of age.
Post-Secondary Students
- Algonquin College students can provide an official timetable indicating full time status.
- Dominican College: school identification with current year and full time status, or tuition receipt
- La Cité Collégiale: student card
- St. Paul University: copy of course registration, or tuition receipt
- University of Québec in Gatineau: copy of course registration and tuition receipt
Students that are on a ‘Co-op' work-term need to provide either proof of fulltime enrollment or a letter on company letterhead stating they are in Ottawa for a Co-op work-term, confirming their fulltime status.
Out-of-town students can bring a letter on the school's letterhead confirming full time status, a school registration receipt or a tuition receipt.
Mature students attending Private Vocational Institutions can obtain an OC Transpo form from the school office and present the form with proof of identification to an OC Transpo Sales and Information Centre. Only the registered PVI schools listed below are eligible:
