Night Stop — on the Transitway

Some Transitway stations provide Night Stops after 9 p.m. At these stations, do not go to your regular stop — wait at the Night Stop which is centrally located and close to yellow emergency call boxes and pay phones.

After 9 p.m. all routes will serve only one stop — the Night Stop. When the bus stop sign lights up, the Night Stop program is in effect.

Look for the yellow bus stop sign and the TRANSECURE logo on the adjacent shelter — this is your Night Stop.

After 9 p.m. you can ask a bus operator to let you off at a spot along the route other than your usual bus stop, if it is safe to do so — just let the operator know in advance.

Ask your driver at least one bus stop before your regular stop.

Let your driver find a safe place to open the door. This may not be the exact spot you’ve requested.

Please exit by the front door only.

Taxi Link

If you’re travelling by bus after midnight, and need a taxi to complete your trip home, a taxi will meet you at a designated taxi pick up location at most Transitway Stations.

Just call a taxi company on your cell phone or a pay phone and provide the name of the station and your approximate arrival time.

If you don’t have a cell phone or a quarter, your bus operator may be able to assist you — just ask. The operator may be able to arrange for a taxi to meet you at a station. Some exceptions apply and service cannot be guaranteed, but we’ll do our best.
